mine used to be DSLPOWR now iits OILBRNR
before any of those i had T BGR but the dmv caught on to what it meant and denied it....they had already given me my registrtion but never shipped the plates.

i feel your pain...i run dealer tags on all my vehicles except the duramax...but that will change once its paid off in a year or 2...

The thing I don't like about custom plates is that I lose my anonymity. Some family members call me "speed." I don't run extremely far over the limit, usuallly only 9 over. But I don't think the cops would like 500rwhp or smknya, ctchtis, dsl smk, hot dsl, 12sec, lmmthis, lmm smk, ctchme, epa who, whatepa, epa h8n, epa h8r, ftheepa. That's just a start.

I have written traffic tickets for a living for over 20 years. I can tell you that the a personalized license plate as well as bumper stickers can effect your driving record. I once wrote a ticket to a guy who had a bumper sticker that read "COPS SUCK". I didn't say a word about the sticker but what a fool.

I was agreeing with him. A plate that states that you like to speed or have a 600hp truck or is more likely to draw attention to yourself. It is the same with a bumper sticker.

Hey, I enjoy a good personalized plate as well as the next guy. I just think that if you have a fast Corvette that your plate shouldn't be "LUV2SPEED".
