If it was truely a question of whether we have heard about their transmissions I have only heard that a few in the Wilmington area have had problems and have not been taken care of after the sale. He uses Precision of New Hampton converters but leaves the "of New Hampton" part off so that hopefully you will ASSume it is a much more highly acclaimed Precision Industries converter. He uses the standard Alto power packs and transgo mods to build them so you don't end up with as many clutches in some packs as the SunCoast and the clearances won't come out right. I have spoken with him on the phone (he called trying to sell me on getting him to build transmissions for me) and he didn't know the C5's from the C3's and found a quick excuse to get off the phone when he realized I build transmissions and he could not hide behind smoke and mirrors with me. If I understand it right they found that he was creating multiple accounts at dieselplace (and I'm sure other sites) and posing as "satisfied customers from multiple states" to make his transmissions seem legit. He has NO Duramax's with BIG horsepower running his transmission to back up his claims of what they will hold and hasn't taken me up on my offer to put one to the test in my truck.
If you want a trans built right look around at the fast trucks and see where they got their's built or call Mike L and ask him for the best builder in your area - he knows most of the good ones.
If you are actually the owner of Performance Innovations you picked the wrong site to try to spam - the members here are hotrodders and many know a lot about their trucks so it will be hard to hide behind bogus claims. The Mods and Admin here will also make sure that non-paying vendors trying to pimp their products here pay up or find the door, and will catch on to multiple user names being created from one place to pose as customers and give you the boot for that.
Hope this info was helpful.
