Can someone help me out...Lets say you have 100% over injectors what is that LPM....Or can you even figure that out unless they are flow tested...thanks mike

the flow numbers will also depend on elevation and who's flow bench. so the % over varies quite a bit from bench to bench.

Thanks emiller..I noticed in the recent diesel power mag that 08 had 34 lpm injectors and made around 1200 horse.I was wondering what percent that would be

when I get injectors done I use Dynamite and they use LPM , so in order to get accurate #'s we flow the injector at Gillett Diesel , then spec what we want it to flow when it comes back then we flow test them when returned to verify the size is appropriate , the 2 shops have worked together enough that they have always been right on the money when they return.

Mike my Injectors are 47LPM , Stock LB7 flow 20-22 LPM , so roughly 130% over. 60% LMM's would be smaller than 60% LB7 , but 34-36LPM on an LMM would be roughly 75-80% larger than stock.

That is what i was told prior to using them, either that it cant be done , wont work , ect . But they are working quite well , cost was very good , and they are going back in this year unchanged ;)

That's good. I am glad it's working well for you. I would be worried about the inconsistency hole to hole in the nozzle after extruding them that far.

Have you ever gotten injectors from Exergy? I have heard they are pretty good.

Mine have always had real good balance rates and have seemed to work fine , know of another set that is running 50 LMP on a LB7, and the CR Dodge I did the PBK set of twins on had 56LPM's from Dynamite .

I have installed a set of 60% over's that were done by them, and tuned a few others ( 2 local trucks doing in seat / dyno tuning ) they were good and we sent TJ's out there to be done, but the 100% set didn't seem to work any better than mine still just injectors .

Trent do you think that the 100 overs that I have will be a limiting factor with my build...They started out as very low mileaged lbz injectors that I had extruded to 100 over...hope that wasnt a bad idea!!!:(

it shouldnt matter you just simply made the hole larger no biggie imo an yes james runs around 80% over forgot nozzles are bigger on lb7s  were just cool that way. Are lly-lmm nozzles same size? or did they change between them?

I ran 150% over exergys last season.
