Need to vent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some A-HOLE came around the corner near my house this morning doing what I can only guess was about 70 miles an hour (narrow road in and around the pond with a large drop off the side of the road leading to the pond). Just as he gets near me - he turns head-on right into my lane.:eek:

I swerve to miss him and I thank God that there was a huge snow bank to drive over, as I'd be in the drink if it wasn't. Minor damage - cracked lower valance since the snow bank was actually all ice and mirror to mirror contact (shattered the driver's tow mirror into bits).

Worst part - my one year old son was in the truck with me. Of course the SOB didn't stop!!:angry5: By the time I got turned around and after him - I couldn't find him - BUT I will be looking for him and if I find him - he will pay (and I don't mean $$$!)

God help him if I find him!!:buttkick::villagers: Hell - my wife wants a piece of him.

Now the good news - the rest of the truck is OK, but MOST Important is that my son and I are fine. Zack didn't realize what was going on - he just kept singing to the music and having a grand old time for himself.

Suppose that's enough for now. I haven't even registered the new truck yet. WTF.

Sorry to hear about your luck. I'd go call the police and file a report for insurance purposes.

Already spoke with the police. Working on insurance now - need to see if it's worth filing a claim or paying out of pocket.

wow! Glad you and your son are ok. Now go out and lynch that S.O.B.

As soon as I find him! Lady behind me saw the whole thing/niether of us were able to get his plate. Did call my in a favor with the stateys to keep an eye out for his truck.

That sounds like trying to get across the Wal-Mart Parking lot around here...I hate going to Wal-Mart for just that reason...

Sorry to hear about your accident and I am glad you and you son are alright, people never seem to surprise me these days.

Smokin, glad you and your son are ok. Sorry about the truck. People seem to drive worse and worse everyday. My Pap gave me the best advice I ever recieved when I was learning to drive, he said, quote "Every other driver besides you is an a--hole". Meaning the other drivers are capable of any stupid thing at anytime.

Ben, that sucks. Is there any way to go back on the seller?

Sorry to hear about your truck, at least everyone is okay. I had someone do that to my wifes jeep, 4800 dollars in damage and they never stopped.

And for Ben, at least you only got one, we've got 7 on those setting on the shop floor that look the same. They look great until you pull the heads off. Brand new condidtion my foot.

It's all good.;) This post was just my way to vent - you have some venting to do too, so vent away. Just too bad we're having similar luck right now. Here's to an otherwise happy holiday season and a great new year!! :beer
