Had 2 people call/text me to tell me that Fast and Furious himself, Paul Walker died tonight after a fatal car accident... Checked into it and low and behold it's true... Hard to believe and don't want to believe it but it happened...

I found it hard to believe when I found out last night. Pretty ironic how he went out. Super good actor. RIP

I remember watching him on natgeos Expedition Great White. Seemed like a guy that never let the fame/money get to his head. While I really hate the fart can civic revolution, F&TF is arguably the most successful movie series ever made.

Godspeed Paul

Apparently this was 1.5 miles from Guy Tripp's SoCal Diesel shop.

It was an Open House event at the race team's headquarters. The driver of the Carrera GT was the CEO of the race team and Walker supplied funding. The car was about $500,000 new, production was 2004-2007, 600 units are in the US.

The driver's son tried to rescue him from the burning wreck, to no avail, as did his best friend.

RIP guys.

Just terrible news. I hope he was gone before the flames consumed the car. :( only other way worse to go may be drowning IMO.

RIP to the two men who lost their life & prayers for those they've left behind to grieve.

Apperently this was right after a fund raising event. Paul Walker started an orginization to help with relief efforts back in 2010 for the tsunami. Sadly he leaves behind a 15 year old daughter to.

I am glad to see this thread staying civil compared to the one on dieselplace.
