I dont know about other people but I didnt want to take my eyes off the track long enough to push the 2wd button. I just pushed it when I let off. I cant answer your question about tire pressure, I'm sure somebody will chime in. I couldnt air down my tires because I didnt bring a pump and the track didnt have one either.

How about a list of what to log during a 1/4 mile run using Efi, and what to look for after the run.

I log pretty much the imperial duramax pids( basic efi file) and all i really care about is being able to see what rpm/boost i launched at , actual rail, mm3, and like to watch all my shift points and just basically make shure it was consistant with all my usual runs .

I always wondered about that I took out the tcase in my old truck. Shortly after hitting the button and gunning it with the front tires on pavement and the rear in a ditch.

Didn't follow my own advise last weekend in Spokane, I was racing Rob in the finals of supersteet and only planned to launch to get a bit more practice on the .4 protreet. Anyway it went up in smoke on the launch, and I thought I had forgotten to engage the 4x4. I couldn't remember if I had hit the button or not. Embarrasing as hell. Anyway, next day on the way home I stopped for fuel and when I was turning the truck around I noticed it was in 4x4. I had driven over 100 miles in 4x4 and didn't know it. So make sure it engages by backing up a little. Mine is tough to get out as well, just letting off the fuel doesn't do it all the time. Have to come almost to a stop before it will pop out once in a while. Max'd Out has a manual T-case. I've wondered what would happen if you took it out say short of the 1/8. Probably nothing good with drag radials.

I am also curious on tire pressure, I plan on going to the dragway tonight (unless it rains) I am going to run my 285 75 16's on PYO's I think they'll be better than my M/T ATZ's? I'm not sure how low to go with my 285's??

Depending on how hard you launch, I'd start out with 30 in the front and 28 or so in the back. They feel a little mushy when you turn but can handle it. I've run as low as 22 in the back and 25 in the front
