Greetings, I was hoping to get some advice on some part numbers I need to order.
I've been driving (and abusing) my 2007 Silverado 2500HD Classic (LBZ) 4x4 [VIN - 1GCHK23D57F191607] for the past 16 years from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, and the truck currently has 207k miles on it. I'm currently in Argentina where it is impossible to get parts, but I have a friend coming down to visit in a few weeks so I would like to order these so they can be brought down to me.
Last year I changed the rear diff pinion seal so that's good, but suddenly it seems like I'm slowly leaking fluids from every other possible place. I'm no mechanic, so I was hoping someone could advise me on what specific seals I need to order, when I look at the parts sites, I'm unclear if I'm looking at the correct part with some of these seals.
I've looked at my usual go-to parts sites, but I'm a bit baffled here as to what I need exactly. In the past, I've always delt with more straightforward parts like the master cylinder, power steering pump, upper/lower suspension control arms, and various hoses.... those are easy parts to figure out. However, I'm a bit perplexed about the seals that I specifically need. I see numerous seals listed on the Automatic Transmission page and the Axle Shafts & Joints page, but they are numerous with vague names and not listed on the diagrams. I am not trying to be lazy here, it's just that this is all well beyond my knowledge and I'm hoping someone who is familiar with these parts can offer some guidance as to what specific parts I need for the various issues shown in the photographs.
Sorry, about the grimy images, I've been driving through a lot of dust and mud this past week and haven't been able to spray it so it's pretty ugly underneath with the leaks and all.
#1 - Rear Differential
#2 - Above transmission oil pan.
I have an aftermarket PPE transmission oil pan,. I seem to be leaking fluid from this part just above the oil pan, I have no idea what this is
#3 - Transfer Case, both sides
#4 - Motor oil pan
It seems like it's leaking oil from the sensor or whatever that is that enters the midway up the pan from the drain plug
#5 - Front Drive Shaft, driver & passenger side
This novice appreciates all advice and suggestions.
