Parellel turbo setup

I was wondering what the advantages or disadvantage would be for the parallel turbo setup vs the compound setup.

What's a parallel turbo? Are you talking about real twins like one for each bank?

Yes.I was thinking if someone used vgt turbo it would help with spooling.
Dont think I would do the setup becouse I like the one I have,just a thought I have.

If it worked, getting the turbo out of the valley would make room for some improvements to the intake tract. I imagine it would be a ton of work. For our application, compounds seem to be the logical answer.
