Feels nice not having a truck payment anymore. I'm free and clear and she's all mine.

Finally found a townhouse that me and the lady liked in a brand new and upcoming community so we went and looked at them yesterday...they had one unit left that is still being framed right now. Looked at the model and said yup we want it!

Went and talked to the lender and got everything all squared away..so I decided with a mortgage coming my way, I didn't want that pesky truck payment anymore so I just went to the bank and paid off the remaining balance.

Best part about the new place is the garage is plenty big for my truck and whatever other projects I want to work on. I can see an engine build going on in there:woott:

I guess I'm finally growing up...

Well worth it. No truck payment and I have my own place now. Can't wait to run a new sub panel and wire up 240 volt in the garage and run a few more 120 volt outlets. Entire garage has 1 outlet...glad they atleast made it easy for me by putting the main in the garage.

Haha yea my first truck payment I paid on for 3 years and had the five year note paid off. Then paid cash for the next one. Buying a house was a big step into being an adult and I'm still not happy about the adult idea yet

Screw being an adult!!! lol Still coping with it myself... my little boy is 4 months old now, and I don't know how I did it without him but it's definitely a life changing event.

I only have a house payment, all the trucks and toys are all paid for. I want a new denali duramax bad! but unless I sell my truck to put extra cash towards it, I'll have a payment which I don't want. And I still enjoy my lmm! besides, the cost of building the motor from this point isn't substantial. Josh is hiding parts from my wife for me! :roflmao:

Yup I don't have a lick of debt either other than my soon to be house. Engine build is in my future since the woman got everything she wanted...she said now it's my turn. She even said she would work all the over time she can.

This is the first truck I've even kept long enough to pay off. Most my other truck went an average of 10 months before switching. I'm going on 2.5 years with my lly. Still in love!

cash is king!! I keep cash in the gun safe so my wife doesn't know everything lol. I counted it the other day sitting taking a poop so she never came in to see what I was doing :D Stacking bills and taking the president to the white house! :roflmao:

I have no set income. I'm 100% commission based, makes for some sleepless nights sometimes

i can believe it. thats something i could never do for a job. i gotta know i can count on something steady to keep my head straight. The wife and i have our own separate piggy banks and there is no hiding parts from her cause when i come home with a smile on my face its a "what part came in this time" and then i giggle like a school girl that had her crush just ask her out

My wifes 05 Suburban and my truck are both paid off. We use to buy new vehicles about every two years and finally decided to keep what we had until they were paid off. I planed to trade when my wife's was paid off but neither of us want another car payment. Paying them both off was like getting a $1200.00 a month pay raise.:woott:

I can totally agree to the kid thing. Mine will be four in November and I can't imagine where I would be without my side kick helping every second. Tonight alone he handed me tools while I rebuilt my 4l60e in my dd. The rough in looks good mike. My basement had the rough in for a bathroom but wasn't finished which im glad because I can do it myself and make some money off this place when I move soon. I'm glad im not the only one regretting becoming an adult haha
