Hi guys,
First of all, I'd like to send my sincere apology to Mr. Rob Coddens, to Dustin, to Caleb and to the rest of the staff at ATP. These are all stand up guys, and I am very sorry that I let my petulance get the best of me here on these boards and even through my email and PM correspondence.
The truth is is that what I did by posting here was stupid and irresponsible because it had no basis nor no argument and there is no excuse for it. I am sorry that I helped to denigrate the name of a good man and his business as well as those that work for him and those that rely on him everyday for their livelihoods.
So here's the full story, last week, not two weeks ago as I had said, Thursday, October 3rd, 2013, I called Dustin at ATP who I'd been speaking with about the setup I wanted and we got it ordered. Dustin was very nice and courteous on the phone which is what I had come to expect from him as that had been our experience together in the past. Dustin in fact had been so courteous that he had already called Scott at SDP to get things lined up with the special powder coat color I wanted and that right there says something about his devotion to customer service, which I had come to forget about in the last 6 days. In the next day or so my card was charged for the full amount for parts including:
SDP Twins
PPE Up-Pipes/Manifolds
PPE Shim Kit
Air Dog II 165
and of course Rob's tuning, which he threw in for free for bringing him my business, of course he didn't have to do this as I would have paid for the best had I had to in the first place and I REALLY and truly do appreciate that...
Upon seeing the charge I was very excited, so excited in fact to get the ball rolling, that I immediately started pestering Dustin with emails, PMs and phone calls about where my stuff was and how long it would take much as a boy would do to his parents on the days leading up to Christmas morning. Of course at this point the parts were being drop shipped from distributors or at least on hold and it was disappointing, in my eyes, that I couldn't tell when to look forward to receiving the packages. Looking back now I realize my impatience and excitement got a little out of hand and when I didn't receive answers back in less than 1 business day as to where my products were, I began to worry that maybe they weren't going to arrive in time or that they might be back ordered for weeks or months; which would be torture!
When it comes to tuning, I've been Rob's stock truck tuning at this point who I chose in the first place because he is world-renowned to be the best of the best in the Duramax world and so of course I had to have his tuning. In March of this year, shortly after I bought my truck, I started running Rob's tuning and have been since. I COULDN"T BE HAPPIER WITH THE WAY MY TRUCK PERFORMS and at first, it was hard to imagine that it could get any faster, but since then, I got the itch again for more speed and so that's when I called and made the order with Dustin.
Unfortunately and regrettably, over the course of today and the past few, I've managed to insult and disrespect Rob, his company and his team in such a way that's inexcusable and inappropriate of my age nor any age. And why you ask? There's no good answer to that and that is why I am here to apologize.
So in conclusion I'd just like to ask Rob, Dustin and the men and women of ATP to please accept my apology as you didn't deserve what I gave you and I look forward to a long and ASS KICKING relationship in the future.
