Good day. I’ve got a 2003 LB7 4X4 long bed 252000mi. Only owned since January but 3-4000 miles of towing and driving have been trouble free.Truck towed for 3.5 hours before this trouble began, trailer was loaded with a rock crawler (maybe 5-7000lb loaded trailer.) Picked up my cab over for the first time, goosed it a little out of a parking lot and got a clunk. No notable change out of the truck after the clunk, then left from the stop sign and got 1/8-1/4 mile and truck went to all neutrals.
Where the odd stuff starts. In park or neutral the speedometer reads 25mph. Codes present are P0500, P0700, P0722.
P0500 - generic abs code (due to the speedo reading 25 but the truck not moving)
P0700 - coming on to indicate there’s a transmission code.
P0722 - output speed sensor circuit no/low soginal (even with new sensor code still present)
I have replaced both transmission speed sensors and the NSBU. Doing so changes nothing. I have a Snap-On scanner and viewing data shows that I am getting input and out speeds in my live data. Unplugging the output sensor make it go to zero. (Pictures) According to the scanner, the trans will only stay in 4th gear no matter where selected in forward gears. Also on occasion when in neutral the motor wants to rev out of control to the limiter.
I found in the very beginning that the driveshaft going into the transfer case was all the way in. I loosened the carried bearing and
