Hey guys, I have a stock high-mile 5 speed, and am finally running into an issue with it. About 2 weeks ago, my CEL came on with a P0711, and the transmission temp guage on the cluster stopped working, however you can still read proper trans temperature from the ODB2 port, and nothing else seemed wrong. Starting yesterday, it will now either bang hard through the gears from park, or not shift into gear at all for a few seconds. This was accompanied by a P0872. This code cleared, but will sometimes show up again depending how bad the transmission is acting up. I am hoping this issue is being caused by the pressure switch manifold, and not wiring or a stuck e-valve, but I was hoping someone else had a similar problem or idea that would prevent me from throwing parts at it.

Inspect the main harness at the crossmember for a rub through or pinched wire. If it looks good, try changing the PSM and internal harness. If you have trash in the pan, it could mean trouble.
