Pulled the crankshaft sensor, and the reluctor wheel moves forward and backward. So I am going to start tearing into it. Any suggestions to make it easier, please feel free. Was wondering if I should take the grill, radiator and etc. off to make an easier access to the front of the motor? Is there any special tools I might need like a puller for the front cover, pulleys, or balancer? Please anything to help. Going to start in the AM.. Thank you guys for the great information on these trucks.

Pull the front clip. Isnt that hard, only takes about an hour or so. Your going to need a new front seal and install tool too. I dont think theres any way to save that front seal.

Thanks for the info.. looks like I might need a tool to hold the flywheel, or maybe rig something up so I can take the crankshaft nut/ pulley off also.

Pull the starter and stick a pipe into the flywheel to hold it... If you feel like being cheap. Be careful if you do it this way..
