Did you try to unplug the FPR while it was running? It should max the rail pressure out. If it doesn't and your injectors are good it would point to your CP3 being the culprit.

I did do that, and the rail pressure stayed at the same 6000-ish at idle. Tried tap-testing the FPR while unplugged, and it didn't change.

Any positive or negative feedback for Oregon Fuel Injection? I'm a Carquest Tech-Net shop, and that's probably where I'll get my CP3. (network discount).

Got it installed yesterday, and replaced the left valve cover gasket that the dealer screwed up when they did the injectors. The truck is running like a champ now. :D

Still running great guys. In fact, it actually seems to be running better now, than it did right after the new CP3. The first day or two, it smoked (gray) a bit a WOT, and now that has cleared up. Do these things adjust fueling (fuel trims) like the gassers do?

Oh, ended up doing a set of injectors on a buddies 2003 LB7 yesterday. Got it done in a bout 8.5 hours, not too bad for a first timer, eh?

Here is the "meat" of the test procedure I followed guys.

What is step 45? Helping a buddy fix an LLY that won't start. Changed the cp3. Still no start. RP is really low like 250psi. No hung injectors. Has really high flow out of inj 5 and little to nothing out of the rest. Could one really bad injector cause rail to drop so drastically?
