P0088 P0193 LB7 after changing injectors

Hey everyone,
Got an 03 LB7 Duramax, and just replaced the injectors.
It won't start, and it's throwing P0088 and P0193.
Now, I installed a Nicktane Cat filter and I can hear bubbling.
I'm gonna pull that filter head tomorrow and check it out, but would that cause P0088 and P0193?

Filter head isn't bubbling anymore, and it starts (sometimes), lopes horribly...

you're having rail pressure sensor issues. Both codes are for high fuel rail pressure. make sure the sensor is plugged in and the wiring isn't damaged.

Is it the FPR on the back of the CP3? Or is the fuel rail pressure sensor different?

The fuel pressure regulator is on the back of the cp3 pointing towards the firewall. If its not plugged in it defaults to max fuel pressure. The fuel pressure sensor is on the driverside near the fuel block I believe. If the sensor is not plugged in or like said above the wiring is damaged it may cause the harsh lope you are saying you have.

FPR was plugged in and loping like crazy. I unplugged it and got no change. That would mean the FPR is bad (or an FPR wiring issue) correct?

I edited my post above while you were typing this response.

I'm really hoping the FPR is the issue. Would the fuel rail pressure sensor cause a lope? It's weird to me that it ran fine before I did my injectors (other than hazing like crazy) and now all of a sudden a sensor is bad..

How bad of a lope are we talking here? Ive seen it on a lly where head gaskets were changed and after the truck would start but have a severe lope. Bad enough where on the upward part of the lope it would smoke black and rattle. (it would rev up to aprox 2k rpms then drop back down to around 500 then back up to around 2k) I forget what the codes were but they replaced with a new fuel rail pressure sensor and all was fixed. Im not saying this is your problem just sharing what ive seen in the past. Id just go through and verify everything is plugged in tight and all the wires look good.

Lope from 550rpm-850rpm, with severe fuel knock. Each lope cycle is probably 1.5 seconds.
Everything is tight; I'll go through and check the wires.

do you have a way to check rail pressure? if the fpr is unplugged off the cp3 it sends the cp3 to full pressure and at idle you'll run 26.5kpsi and lope like a beast, but I'm not sure if the pressure sensor would cause this.

Torque OBDII reader (android app) read 26,107 rail psi.
Psi didn't change from FPR being plugged in, or unplugged.

From what I've read, it sounds like It could be either/or...

Brent at LDS said it sounds like FPR. Trying to lube it up with some ATF right now

all the symptoms sounds like a fpr. they're only a few hundred at most, and can be changed out in the truck. Rockauto has them listed for $250, but I would imagine you could look around here and find one cheaper.

Exactly, make sure everything is plugged in first. I started tearing my fpr out to replace with a used one and found the rail pressure sensor disconnected. Fixed

As far as I can see everything is plugged in. I tore around in there and everything looks good.

Brent said it's probably a wiring issue since the code comes back instantaneously after being cleared

any updates on this I'm having same issue rail is pegged at 26k and goes right into limp mode but mine doesn't lope all the time. did the fpr replacement do the trick?

I got your answer. Mine was the sensor next to the fuel rail. The Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor. One of the wires wasn't making contact.
Installed a new sensor, and she fired right up
