So I am still pondering an upgrade on my truck. I have the luxury of time to think about it, and I went back and read some old posts, and ran across the "I saw the impossible". thread. In reading the posts, I was intrigued by Hawk355's "hybrid wiring setup". Someone asked the question, and it was never answered. If an LLY injector is much smaller in output than the LB7, then why couldn't you theoretically match the output with an oversize LLY injector? Would this save the tuning headaches? Or is there something else I am missing? I know efi live is the best thing since sliced bread, but could you actually get close enough to make it work? Just a thought. Anybody got an opinion?

If the injectors were simply 5-10% bigger, it would run without an issue. But the problem is the nozzle is a different style (VCO vs SAC). I'm sure there are other hurdles that they are using EFI to cover.
