Had Mike L build me a stage 5 tranny back in Nov 2012 and it has been awesome until recently. In January it started shifting funny (lag/pause when shifting) so I had mike check it out to make sure everything was good and it was "perfect" according to his computer. He mentioned the problem most likely is the edge programmer so I planned on getting EFI Live but haven't pulled the plug yet.

Today while driving up to Utah my Edge tranny temp alarm went off at 231 and threw the following codes: P0702, P0700, P0741, and P0404. I let my tranny cool down, didn't clear the codes to have my local shop look at it tomorrow. Started to drive again and tranny temps just climb. I repeated this a couple times until finally clearing the codes and it made it the remaining 300 miles with no issues.

Could the Edge juice with attitude be causing all of these issues while only driving in stage 1? I rarely switch out of the economy/ towing tune.

Take it in to Smith Diesel in Cedar city and have Kyle call me.
