Anyone heard of them??? I ran across them last night while looking on racingjunk. Looks like the sell pretty nice "race style" chargers built by Bullseye. Just wondering if anyone had heard of them as their website sounds like they have chargers for specific pulling classes of trucks and tractors - 2.6, 2.8, 3.0, 3x3, etc.

 Huh! Would that be the Eagle Alloy company that makes gasser cranks and rods and such, Nathan? Or more oddly, the wheel company?

k this may be a stupid question r i missed something, but is the only purpose of this pedestal is to mount these different T300-400 turbos?

A pedestal is for mounting any T3 or T4 turbo on a Duramax. You have to have one if you aren't using a stock or stock based turbo.

so would this work on ats's Aurora 5000?

Aurora 5000's come in both T3 and T4 exhaust housings and you would just need to know which you are getting - then it would bolt down onto any T3 or T4 pedestal respectively.

For cast pedistals your choices that I know of are:
ATS
HTT
Bullseye
BD

For tubular fabricated pedistals your choices I know of are:
Pro-Fab (RDL) made to your specs
PPE

due to the "V" of the v-8 you have to raise the turbo up when you go larger then stock basically.

Nice quote from Diesel Power but you need a pedistal because the stock turbos are duramax specific and basically have a pedestal built into them - the up-pipes bolt directly to the turbo. When you swap to an aftermarket T3, T4 or T6 turbo you need a pedestal to mount it on - the up-pipes bolt to the pedestal then the turbo bolts down on the pedestal; it's basically a "Duramax turbo adapter". It is true that you often need a tall pedestal or a spacer to get a big turbo up high enough to route the intake tubing to it, but even with a 4088 or 4094 that sits low and that you can use the stock LLY and newer intake tubing on you still need a pedestal.
