Ordered me a go pro

One weakness in the GoPro is the 'fingers' on the case. A lot of people have lost and almost lost their cameras when they snap off. The smart thing to do is setup a tether to main part of the case if they break.

How would you go about tethering to the case? I always tie a rope to the suction cup mount in case it lets go, but I never thought about tying to the case.

If you look at the bottom where the back is hinged there is a spot where you can put some small braid cable through.

I currently have one of these on order. http://www.lifeisunruly.com/headgear/index.html which I think will work great and eliminate the finger issue. It will probably be a few weeks before it arrives. I'll be doing a write up on the GoPro site for it.
