BBL was released into public beta over 12 months ago, although that said we made it pretty clear at the time there may still be issues so upgrade at your own risk.

It's been a stable release for the best part of 5 or 6 months now, but we didn't make a song and dance about it - it's really just evolved, so I'm sure there are plenty of users that don't know about it. Like all of our software it's still being enhanced and updated, and will remain a work in progress while the rest of our V8 software is implemented. Paul is happy with the way BBL functions, and user issues are minimal. Paul has now moved onto standalone reading and flashing as his major focus.

To upgrade to BBL, you need to go to our website, download and install 7.5.5 (build 72) then update to build 78 following the instrucitons. You then need to download and install V8.1.2 Build 42 (MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO UPGRADE THE BOOTBLOCK and FIRMWARE), then update to build 44.

I'd suggest you upgrade when you are least likely to be distracted and have plenty of time available - time, concentration and a clear mind should eliminate any frustration. The instructions are very detailed and there are multiple choice options for the bootblock/firmware because of the number of releases/updates we've made along the way.

im verry happy the way it works maked it so much easier at the track and on the street one button operation to start an stop and it auto saves your file its great. It keeps getting better and better :D

LOL, I looked again :D

I too am happy for BBL now that I am pretty much figuring it all out. Its very nice not having to worry having the laptop with me if I for some reason need to make a log file.

And I got the DTC lookup working last night, thats very helpful now as well. Switchable tuning from V2 and I will be more satisfied than ever.
