LB7: options for new injectors

Alright guys ive been getting a good puff of white smoke on start up and my balance rates are off on some injectors

Just wanted to see what some of my options were for injectors... my truck is a rebuild, would GM still cover the injectors on the 200k warranty or am I s.o.l? If I gotta replace them should I just try to do all 8? Also how long am I going to be able to drive my truck with them going out, or will it just run crappy? thanks guys

I'm regretting no doing all 8. Did 3 back in spring, and now another is at +5.5. Current economics dont allow buying the last 5.

Guess I'll have to save and do all 8 at once then. Where's a good place to get injectors? I'm tempted to just go for some 25% overs, I'd like a little more than stock but nothing too crazy.

265 ea for 20% and 272 ea for 30% injectors. stock is 210 ea core is what kills you its 200 on ea til they get returned.

Unless your truck has an inservice date of 12/04 your boned anyway. You could post your vin in the vin check area and check inservice and see if it's warranty blocked (which is very likely as it's rebuilt).

I was curious as to the manufacture date or whatever they use to start the warranty. My truck was a month out of the extended warranty when my injectors went bad. I called GM customer service and they asked me a bunch of questions and a couple weeks later they paid for new ones to be put it. Worth a try.

thats not as bad as I was thinking any %over injectors would be. So those prices are after they get my cores?? or is that the injectors plus the core?

Thats 265 for the injector with 20% over + 200 core so 465. But you get the 200ea X8 back once the cores are back and said to be good to go. for the core refund.

So what % over would be good for a DD? I plan on doing twins but don't plan on getting too crazy, at least I'm trying not to! Is there any way to see where my truck is from?

I have 4 good (tested by a bosch cert dealer) injectors I'm getting ready to list. PM me if interested. I also have 45% over tips that I will be selling as soon as I pull them out of my pulling truck.

Could you guys help me out a little with the sizes? Like is there some info like 30% is good for DD and up to 600hp, 45% a little less DD and 750hp... I need something that will still DD and pull like stock but I'd like something a little bigger than stock if im going to fork out the money for new injectors. Can you still get the same mpgs and stuff with bigger sticks? sorry for all the noob questions :baby: Just want to get the best size for what I need
