Well been looking for another diesel for awhile now. Local dealer got this is for trade today, 2007 classic ccsb, 125k miles, had a hyertech chip I believe, no longer has it on there, drives pretty good, power everything with sunroof, I am going to get them to put stock rims back on with some new mickythompsons atz. Needs 3 new tires anyways. Talked to orig. Owner and said he had the whole front redone(ball joints, etc)about 20-30k miles ago. I am worried about pump rub in xfer case. How much should I talk them to, so I get a good deal.

If it's real nice and clean (good paint etc.) maybe out the door for 20k? Depends on your area I guess. They go a little high around here, but I paid out the door 22,800 for my all stock clean and nice 06 w/ 90k miles 2 years ago in March.

I wouldn't pay anymore than blue book if it was me. Private party blue book was 23k for mine at the time, so I was either getting it for that or leaving.. they wanted 26,500 out the door when I got started... took about an hour and a half to work them down, got up and headed for the door a few times etc.

I always use NADA for buying. KBB is always higher.

I do use the KBB when selling...:D

Well I started looking around and in the driver side wheel well, it looked like something was leaking down the abs wire, only thing I can see it looks like they overfilled the brake fluid reservor, it is way above full mark, idk also looks like a pcv tube on driver side has oil on the outside of the hose. Any ideas?

Dude... Lbz are good trucks. Can't be to picky at 20k for it. Pump rub and leaky trans lines are not that big of issues. I know you're probably trying to work them for every last penny but the way you describe the truck 20k seems reasonable so if they don't like it keep looking

Probably a power steering line leaking. Mine has done it since new yet the reservoir still shows full. PCV line having oil on it is no big deal. Might have been pulled and lost the o-ring that seals it. You want to re-route it anyways.

Your buying a used truck so you cant tear it apart for not being in Brand New condition. Especially with 125k miles. If the fluids were changed on time and its not beat to hell, I dont see you having any problems with it.

I have 151k miles on mine and I have tried to kill it since it was new. Still runs like a champ!

Used truck prices are insane in my area. That same truck but 06 is at a local lot listed for 24,9 and they've got an 04 lb7 ext cab sb listed for 21  . They're all over Craigslist too for over 20. I'd say if you could get it for around 20 it'd be a good deal.

Ya really don't see them much in that color, what's the biggest tire you can run with out scrubbing, it has 295/75r16 atm and it rubs when u have it turned all the way. It has a small dent in thw drivers door that they are going to get it fixed and then I may try to get this truck, I am torn between only having 1.5 yrs left to payoff my z71 or to get this truck.

I ran a 285/75/16 without rubbing on stock rims. But other wise a 265/75/16 will never rub no matter what u do. I personally love a 285 on a stock height truck.

Going to see what kinda of a deal I can work out, gonna try to get just 50 more a month than I am paying atm for my 1500. The truck is in the body shop atm getting a ding fixed that was in the driver side door. Where to get the pump rub fix from? Also a good place to get a efilive flashv2 and dsp5(sp) from, keep hearing idaho rob a lot but how to get in contact with him? Also should I keep the rims or get stockers? And also what's a good size tire?
