I have the MBRP 5" and I'm happy with it. It wasn't hard to line it all up. I may do something else in the future if I don't get a new Duramax in the next few years...

Magna flow steps it muffler down. Flow pro is the same size as the piping through it. Fitment has been good on both. I prefer the flow pro over all the others.

I installed a magnaflow on my old mans lmm and a one on buddies lmm... same style clamps as above that someone linked from summit. Had a random hanger for something, but the rest of the hangers were there and in the right places. good fitment and easy install. the ones with the mufflers were rather quiet for about a year till the muffler started to fill with soot and then it starts getting louder.

Well guys, I was looking for a flo pro but ended up buying a magnaflow aluminized 5" kit and a 6 inch tip last night. I found a site that has 20% off all magnaflow products right now and their original price before the discount was very good; I couldn't pass it up! I'll post my opinions on the install and throw up some pics when its done! :D

I would run Flopro if I do another exhaust system... My magnaflow fit ok but the hangers are garbage, every one has ripped away from the pipe and has had to be welded and gusseted.

I have 4" banks and it took every bit of 20 min to completely install it with zero fitment issues and all the hangers lined up perfectly. I'm around 1000hp with 4" fwiw and don't see the need for 5" jmo

I have a diamond eye exhaust on mine. I would prefer not hearing the exhaust any more than I have to. I run their 5 inch with a muffler. Fit terrible. it's quiet, but the tone you do here is deep instead of raspy.

Got my 5" magnaflow for $100 less than the 4" kits at the time of purchase. ;)

I paid good money for the 4" just because it is super nice, fits good, etc. I have a straight pioe coco. With the banks muffler, it is about as quiet as stock

Yep, looks good lol, 7-8 years old now.

I agree with Harbin and Coca though, the 5" won't get you anything but a deeper sound, no performance to be gained or EGT drop...

Wow, well I don't know if they use salt up there like here in MI (probably not) but that don't look like stainless anymore. I have a 4" Silverline on mine bought second hand but I know it was one of the higher end stainless….back then you had a choice of a couple different grades. Now it's just stainless or aluminized. Mine still looks great but it has been parked the last 3 winters too.

Pretty sure the one I got was the lowest/cheapest grade stainless... No salt up here that I know of but the mine was running Mag Chloride on the access road to control dust. I drove it up there for one winter before I bought a couple rez rockets to beat to death...

Yeah I think that chloride is hard on stuff too. My parents live on a dirt road and that mixed with stone chips and salty winters ate at my dads rockers pretty quick.

Rez rocket, lol. Haven't heard of that one before. We just call 'em beaters. But that's the way to go for sure.
