Quite a ways. If you were willing Riverdale in Sutton ON is owned by a guy I pull with and I am sure he would get it fixed up for you. Knows his way around Duramaxes very well.

Riverdale, I think that's the place my tow truck driver mentioned when I bought it. I couldn't remember the name or if it was Sutton or Keswick. Thank you! I'll give them a call for sure and get it down there once my road reopens.

Yes Randy runs a pull truck in pro mod and he owns the shop and would get it fixed up for you and I am sure not overcharge.

PM me if that does not work and I can ask a friend up that way for a good shop.

Quick update- had her booked in but looks like I can cancel that repair bill. As much as I didn't think it was possible the transmission guy was right. It has actually dried out and it's working perfectly now. Even today in the rain.

It's a total fluke that I even know that but I had a leaky power steering line and after it was changed I took it for a short trip to make sure nothing else went. Indicator is perfect every time. Even today in the rain it's good to go. So- no more water or I know what the bill will cost but I finally caught some luck with this truck!

If its the black switch (you never replied back if it was or not) --- you better keep that appointment.

It's the tan one not the black. So.. that should mean it's been done. I'm sure it's going to fail again, I have no doubt at all. But for now, I'm rolling it down a bit on the very long list of things to fix/replace/diagnose. This truck is still very much a work in progress. That said- it better let me finish the intercooler before it fails again on me! I would much rather drive it to the shop than have it towed.

Well it hung in there long enough to redo the cooler lines (again- long story there hah) and put in a little bigger cooler. Changed the nsbu while that was all going on and she's a happy unit again.. and so am I! No more water for Franky!
