One tuner - two computer

I got a quick question. Me and my buddy share a tuner and we got our own laptops. He uploaded the cd to his computer and I was wondering if I could also load the software on my computer. I tried once but my computer would not let me, I wasn't sure if the computer was blocking it or if I can't upload the software to more than one computer. Thanks again for the help.

Yes, you can put it on as many computers as you want You just have to share the cable to for flashing or logging.

Yes, you can load it onto more than one computer. I have mine on my laptop and my desktop. You are probably having some sort of issue. Do you have Vista on your computer?

Make sure you to try install it as administrator.

They make their money on the cable. The software can be downloaded on their website for free, but it is useless without the cable. You can open tunes, look at them, and even make changes, but you can't save the changes or load them in anything.

yea im sorry, IIRC you can even download it for free from their site. Hope that helps, i was confused at first there.

Make sure you have the paper with the serial number and all that info that came with the cable and CD. Otherwise you'll have to write it down from his computer. If you don't get that info, you won't be able to do anything with your software unless you have the cable hooked up.

Dont bother you should just download from efi web site. as the cd wont have the newest software on it
