Long story short, local trans shop did PPE stage 5 kit. The truck wouldnt back off lift when complete, they blamed parts. Trans comes back out of truck, they figure it out. They said forgot to plug in speedo, oops. I drive truck for 32miles notice large puddle of atf, tranns come out again. Third time is a charm right? Well no. 1100 miles later it slips 1st to 2nd up shift some times, slams in to reverse and drive some times. When it is in gear it holds power. The truck is 07 classic with all bolt on as well as 100hp injectors, 4094 turbo, 42% over cp3, and PPE tunes. The truck is lifted on 22.5 and is CCDRW. The shop said they will look at truck on tuesday, I'm not sure I care to give them a fourth try. Im thinking take to Tim Moye and hope the parts are not F'ed up. It will also shoot up over 200 degrees with around town driving. Please give input as to what I should do. I'm out $3000 with parts and labor. I had sun coast converter and trans go jr already

You didn't pay enough to get a good job. Sounds like you were shopping for the cheapest price and got the cheapest work done.
Your problem now is; no one in there right mind will go into your trans and fix it cheap. When a moron has gone into your trans it take twice the amount of time to figure out what he did. Good luck.

Cut your losses and find a shop with Experience building Allison 1000's.... It's easy for people to call you cheap and say you got what you payed for but in reality it happens every day. Said Shop Says they are capable of doing said job for X amount of money when infact they are training them selfs at your expense. It sucks but it happens... If you have the time and are semi mechanically inclined I would suggest buying a ATSG book and building it yourself. If its a suncoast/PPE kit there are people there that are willing to step up and help you through it.. If your not comfortable with that find some one local with a good rep or send it to one of the many professional's heres to get it done right..

Since you said Tim Moye, I'm guessing your near Tampa. Where are you located and what shop did the work? If you find somebody to pull it, I can help you take a look at it. I'm not really in a position to pull one, but I can help you out with the internals. Even if it's just to take a look at it at the un named shop to see what they might have screwed up. If you can wait to get Tim to do it, he is a good trans builder and I have yet to hear ANYTHING bad about his work. But like Mike said, now you have a basket case that will require ALOT more work. Not only are you building it, you now have to go through and double check EVERY aspect of the internals and see what may have been screwed up by the previous builder.

What mike said may be true but I feel for the OP. a Trans shop says they can build trannys, guess what, they better do what they say they can do. References always are good to get before selecting a shop. Idiots can charge a lot too...don't mean they are any good. I too think its presumptuous to just accuse him of being cheap. I also applaud him for giving these people opportunities to make it right. If I were to mess something up on one of my jobs, I'd be first in line to prove it was a fluke or honest mistake easily corrected.

Thanks guys for the input, I even asked if they ever did the PPE kit. LOL. Well I guess i had a lot of fun for about three bucks a mile. LOL. Hell I cant even say that, I havent beat this trans. I just wish I would have paid by CC so I could charge back. Tim I guess will get the money now. Hell gotta go in it again might as well do the billet shafts. Thanks for the offer of help to look into it and figure it out, but i'll just take her to where she should have went to begin with. Brandon Transmission is who is wearing out my bolts taking it in and out so much, lol. I can't say any good other than they can do a good turbo 350/400. Thanks again guys

Well reading through their reviews online doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling about them.

Take it somewhere else before they make it worse, if you want to go through the headaches you could try legal, but again, you have to be willing to go through the headaches knowing you probably wont get all of your money back.
