Ok. So we all know about the top 4 rods for these motors
Carrillo,Howard's,RandR,Crower,Manley

So I just found out that Oliver makes rods for the DMax too!
Has anyone used these in the past and what experience did they have

The weigh is the 2 nd lightest at 1098 grams
I have a couple pictures of them and look good
I know Oliver is top notch in the gasser arena but wondering what you all think

More info would be good where did you find them

I stumbled across them thru a vendor that I am dealing with in valves and springs He is not a vendor here so I cannot display. I guess I can tell you thru a PM or text. I called Oliver and Ryan told me that they will hold 2000 HP. He asked me not to post picture on the forum. They made them a while back and are now re visiting the market due to interest of DMax enthusiast. My vendor gave me a pretty good price on them.

Oliver Rods are fantastic in the gas world. Have a set in my boat engine.

Not sure why he would be against posting pictures. Oliver doesnt have anything about them on their website.

Why? It's hard to believe in a product with no track record without at least seeing it.
Patent pending maybe or something? Or patent infringement maybe too lol? I dunno why they would hide it.

We'll if you don't know. They came out with the parabolic beam design years ago for the gas engines. They do have differences from the other I beam rods made for the DMax.

Yea I know, I have been talking her and thee to Ryan at Oliver for the last week or so after my vendor told me about them. From what he told me, they stopped making them a while back I guess due to demand and pricing. The company was sold not to long ago ( just like Carrillo has switched hands) and the New owner wants to start producing them again.

What kind of price are you getting on them? If you can give exact amounts atleast let us know if they are cheaper than manleys...

Liek mentioned in the Gasser arena there are none better in my opinion.. Ran several sets from the forged lightweight up to the billet.. Good stuff..

If no company produces a rod for a Duramax that is not a substantial amount cheaper then a Carrillo. You really should stop right there, and not waste another dollar on R&D.
