Oh. I have no idea where you lived. But you'd be real surprised how cheap you can fly to TX, though. :)

If you were anywhere near Lansing, you were in my area.

The 4spd manual is an SM465, that is what I had, never touched tell 310,000-315,000 miles when we replaced the rear main in the old 454, we did syncro's and shift forkl throw out and seals. No real issues. Very stout and very heavy

The 468 is in a 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive with a TH400 and 12 bolt . I will check with someone tomorrow about 4x4's. A little harder to find but there are alot of ranch trucks that fit that description that usually end up just parked out in the back 40 when they buy new ones.

Man I tell ya I cant decide what the hell I wanna do. I really loved that Th400. It was stout as hell also. Im looking now at SBC and Th400's. Most likely a 1980 or after so it would be 205 tcase in 80 and 208 after. I realize the truck I wanted is going to be like finding a needle in a haystack so I can just get a SBC with rest of drivetrain I want and then switch out to a BBC if I want to later on down the road. Now to just find one of those around Ohio..... I find these damn things all day long when Im not looking for them! Dont want a beater and want to keep it around $3500. Ahhh the fun.
