Joey the rooms we could get if we reseve now would be right above the beer tents:D Stumble there .......get carried back to the room by a hot German girl.

Fixed it for ya-who you trying to kid?:spit:

Buddy I work with went there this year. He said it was a good time-lots of good people. I personally really like Germany-it's a very nice country and most of the people speak excellent english.

Maybe Diesel Pilot could fly us.........

Its going to be a expensive trip!! Looks like 160 US/night for a 3 star room
that puts you right at the tents though

anything is possible, biggest problem for me right now is dates, I've already booked 2nd rifle season elk hunt with the outfitter for next year, but the Colorado DOW hasnt posted the hunt dates yet for the different seasons, so that is my limiting factor right now, I will know more around Feb when I get my proclemation

Flights to Frankfurt are fairly cheap one way sometimes. Like $400 Canadian or less sometimes.

It will be done.......:thumb:

Can't believe I missed this thread. I was about a day from going in 2008 but had something come up. There are some pretty nice hotels within walking distance to the festival. I had reservations at a Holiday Inn about 6 blocks away and it was something like $450 US then, (but I was using points so it wasn't going to cost anything). It has since gotten a bit better with the exchange and the prices have come down a bit too. I was really disappointed that I couldn't go but shit happens. If you guys do end up going I might be able to sneak over for a few days.;)

Also, try to make time to tour BMW headquarters if you are ever in Munich with extra time.

My buddy that went this year said he had to take a subway train to get to where all the partying is done and he paid $300 a night. 4 days is more than enough he said!!
