I need a drink! I'm stumped! Dumped 4 gal from pan. Pulled upper v/c's replaced lines. cranked and now only around 4-600 lbs rail press and I dont see any leaks.

4 gallons of what? Did you log start up and first run? Did you do headstuds? Is your coolant tank pressurized? Need details here

4gal oil fuel mix. studs, cut pistons, keyed,"c" gaskets, 40% injectors. coolant low so I could remove upper pipe. cant get rail press now. scan tool reads 8-9 mpa's when desired is 42.

Did you log what you got cranking it on first start up? Double check all the lines and basic stuff but if you've got fuel in there i'd be willing to bet something isn't right with the injector install. Did you log balance rates on start up too? I'd recommend logging all of your attempts.

hard to log. using a snap-on scan tool, not a lap top.with all that fuel in a short period of time you'd figure it would be hemeraging everywhere. I guess my next step is to pull glow plugs again.

did you replace return lines on injectors by any chance? if not, were the old ones in PERFECT shape? a gallon of fuel in the oil is a lot for no more than it seems you ran it.

It's more than a gallon. It's almost two if he got 4 out of the pan. Pull the plugs as stated and crank it. I'd really get a laptop if I were you I'd dp a compression test too once you get the other things sorted.

after much jerking, it appears the lines arent seating properly on injectors. I tried cleaning rust. does anybody offer replacements or have a good used set?

after 3 bad injectors and solving an abs issue it finally seems done. Took it for a ride the other day and felt good. Still gotta fix filter head and turbo oil feed, then done. Also looking to order a FASS or AirDog tues.:thumb:

Went to shop today. Took her out on I-287 for a spell. Cruised 70-80mph at 2g no problem. Nice and smooth. Only issues are left rear brake was smoking and Batt light wont go out. Even though its putting out 14.5v / 60amps
