I noticed some oil residue in my exhaust, doesn't drip or anything I've just never noticed it. Truck does eat a few quarts between changes but my turbo drain line has a slight leak. Truck also doesn't have any blow by from oil filler or pcv hose. Pretty sure I'm just being paranoid. Any ideas?

That is a brand new exhaust section from flo-pro and I read that there is an oily coating on the exhaust to aid in installation and will burn off. It is exactly how I described so I'll keep an eye on it but pretty sure I'm good.

Do you still have the factory PCV ?
I had the same oily residue in my tail pipe, until I did the PCV re-route.
Overtime there was only a gray thin film on my finger like you show in your picture when wiping on the inside.
If you've done the re-route then more than likely its your new exhaust, or something else because it's pretty black what your showing.

Do you have a CAT? If not, the exhaust will be sootier and maybe some slight oily residue when it's cold. CAT is designed to clean up the particulate stuff.

I wouldn't sweat it at all, they dont call them oil burners for no reason...;)

If you get someone to rev it up in nueteal and you hold a white piece of paper in front of the exhaust you'd freak out. Lol. They shoot out small chunks of carbon and oil...
