I allready have the line hooked up on my 05
I like it better than comeing from the cam journal,Well that and i lost the stock line

basically i just want to get another hose check valve and proper O-Ring fitting ( with out takeing it off )

i thought it was a An fitting? coming out of the oil filter housing

Anyways , ill check out the thread you posted

The one coming off of the block just above the filter housing may be AN type. That is where my feed line comes from.

Someone had posted they (filter housing threads)were a British thread similar to npt, Ivle also read they are a straight (no taper) thread.

I have my oil temp gauge and pressure switch for my lift pump in the lfilter housing and used npt bushings for both, so...

You use NPT? well that would make it very easy:D

The lfitting from the line that Came with the HTT kit was a bugger for me to get tight:mad: I think i ended up useing a crows foot to get it to seal and i still tighten it every once in a while

I didn't know they were different until WELL after it was finished. Just ran them in until they snugged up. Been that way for at least two years. No problems. FWIW, I used teflon paste.


Yeah the HTT one is a BIOTCH. I had to remove my feed line because it would seep at one of the unions on the check valve. I put it off for a few months because I knew how much of a PITA is was going to be.
