Guys, what is missing from that picture?

Dead center in his picture, its a threaded hole and a smaller hole next to it for a locating tab.

And its a "piston cooling nozzle"

Thank you for the information, that would be an uneasy feeling seeing that not installed that is for sure. Have you seen the inside of the actual pump on these engines? I am curious to if there are any casting flash spots that could be needing cleanup regardless of OEM or aftermarket.
