I just switched from Baldwin back to AC Delco and seens like my oil psi went up, both cold and warm.

I'll plug in later and get exact numbers.

anyone else notice this?

The Delco appears to have a lot more restriction. I don't know if that is because it is a finer filter media or what.

I had the exact opposite. I had been running a Fram on my ol 6.5 and put the AC Delco on and lost 10 psi at idle hot. The Delco filter was shorter than the Fram and i even called the parts store and made sure they gave me the right one before i put it on.

About 2+ years ago AC changed the 1218 filter. It is physically smaller in all dimensions and does not look like the original ones inside. I haven't touched one since...
