Oil Psi 120?

I'm thinking the oil viscosity is so high that the oil quantity can't be pushed through the bypass orifice and therefore higher pressure when cold. Maybe, just maybe?

the fitten in the turbo on the lly are more open to better oil.

I dont think so...ive plugged that oil feed off hte cam bearing on an LLY and saw no increase or decrease in oil pressure.

I run Ams Oil 15-40 and see 120 on the factory cluster for about 30 seconds if it is 0 or less on startup without the truck plugged in with an LLY.
