Hey everyone I'm new to the forum but have had my truck for about 3 years now. I tried searching but don't know what to put in for search so it'll probably get moved to somewhere else. So I have an issue, I changed my oil at 145,600 miles. I now have like 146,xxx not even 1000 miles since last change. I reset the dash to say 100% but now the percentage is at like 20 something %. I do it myself too. Any help or thought would be appreciated thanks.

Are you idling alot or towing alot? Short trips all time? I just change the oil every 7-10k miles depending on what the truck is doing. I have never gone off of the oil life monitor
Mines off on the upper side, I could have 10k on an oil change and still have 50%, in the summer though, it's about 8-9k and it's says it's due.
It's never right, they maybe if left stock, but I don't know. I change mine every 5-7k sometimes I'll go longer if I don't have many hours on it.

I try not to idle and ya I make short trips cuz I don't live far from work. It's my daily driver and I don't haul or tow anything. I've been able to get 3-5000 miles from the dash before changing it at like 20% life but this is the first time it's happened. I have it fully deleted so it can't be regen
They tend to go crazy when tuned. I'd just change every 7-10k and don't worry about the oil life monitor
