Truck started leaking oil the other night. Looks like it's coming from/around the balancer area. Oil level was good for a few days and now its is low. Think it's blowing out of the blow by like the pcv tube is plugged or something. Any ideas? Has a noticeable drip while running. No fuel/coolant in oil. Has a little injector chatter but nothing out of the norm for an LB7. Any thoughts/input is greatly appreciated.

The big tube behind the thermostat housing meaning the bypass tube that runs to the water pump? About 1" diameter? Theres a few things that could all be leaking up front. Oil Filler, Water pump, Front seal, pressure sensor and various other ports. Its unlikely but the front cover could leak too although if youve never had it off i would doubt it.
Has your water pump been replaced lately? Wondering if somebody possibly got a little mean with it or forgot the o ring. The front of the valve covers could be leaking too but would probably be running more down the side.
It can also just be the PCV. The 01s did have a filter like box up top. Bypass it with a piece of hose and see what you find. It takes a lot of blowby to get a consistent drip.

That's the tube. Probably an 1" 1 1/2" tube, water pump hasn't been done that I know of, it started doing it the day after I let it run w/ the high idle on for about 30 min. It was just a quarter sized puddle at the end of the first day and now it's huge. Trying to figure out what the F is wrong w/ this thing cause it's supposed to snow tomorrow and it's on my plow truck. Truck does run great though, idle's normal and all the temps are perfect.
Not to sound too dumb, where if the water pump was leaking would oil be coming from? On my 01 when my pump went bad coolant was the only thing that leaked and on the second bad one the impeller came apart and the truck kept getting hot. My 03 is showing no signs of either.
