Decided to do it in the front. The spot on the side I was looking at is right under a bolt, and I'd lose access to it if I put it there.

That will be nice with the weld on fitting. If not done yet I would try and get it to dump below the windage tray or baffle it to get it under. We don't turn the RPM the gassers do but GM still felt it necessary to use a windage tray.
Are those steel toes LOL?:roflmao:

I have had them below and above the windage tray and above works much better. No slow drain problems or leaks at the turbos.
