LLY: oil cooler pipe removel

replaced the water pump on my lly today started it up and anti freeze pouring outta the oil cooler pipe from oil cooler to the outlet of the water pump.. disassembled and tried getting the pipe out. its loose but wont come out. is it flanged on the inside? do i have to remove the oil cooler? need help

Yea I can see its tricky n enough to piss a guy off.. I has a pry bar at the end of the flange with all.my weight on it n the s.o.b is still in there.. I gave up for the day

U might pull the studs out of the water pump and get it out but I'll bet the pump will have to come back off or loosened to get it by...

Water pump was already out.. I finally got it after some finesse. Does anyone know the part number of that o ring?

Well I got it off by prying again the end of flange with a 4 ft pry bar against the block but now the? Is how do I get the s.o.b back in.. I lubed it up n tried pushing it in but that's a no go.. go nothing to pry against n no room to git the end with a hammer

just replaced oil cooler, took studs out of wp flange, got water crossover started by need about 1/4" more . is it possible to back of the three wp bolts to get a little more? thanks for any help...

take the oil cooler off to make room
