Proud owner of an 06 LBZ CC 4x4. She needs a little TLC, but it runs and drives great. The truck has 259k miles on it but is still in pretty good shape. I gave 8500 for it.. deal I couldn’t refuse. I have wanted a Dmax for a loong time. Feels good to finally be in that number. Anything I need to look for?

Welcome aboard

The only thing I can think of is to check for pump rub on the transfer case and make sure it still has fluid in it

If the injectors have never been replaced, don't be surprised if it will not hold fuel rail pressure when towing. Famous lbz & lmm symptoms of high injector return rates.

He said it ran good, so I didn’t want to tell him that right off the bat.

Welcome

Agreed, And there is a possibility that the injectors could have already been replaced not long ago.best to wait for actual symptoms before telling him to spend a ton on new injectors if there not needed

No one did. It was merely hinted at that the injectors may be bad. Some new to the Duramax may think that they will have to get new injectors soon if they take it the wrong way or Miss understood what was said. We where just commenting that it may not be needed and he can wait to see

So, this truck has 259k miles on it now. Should I concern myself with and EGR delete?

Edit: nevermind. I did my own research. Definitely doing it
