Interesting fact tho, when my engine failed it was the number 8 cyl with an identical hole in the exact same spot...
Put in 2 9 inch light bars behind the grill
Took off factory running boards
And installed n-fabs
Also changed the fuel filter but no pics of that

Stuck on the side of i70 700 miles from home cause a wheel bearing let loose. Waitin on a tow truck to get me into a town so I can buy a new wheel bearing and fix it.

177 ft lb nut backed off!!?? I guess something went wrong somewhere, glad you got it fixed pretty quick though
.020 didn't clean out the last one 100%.. Basically I don't have to wait or the machine shop to figure out how deep it is.. To order pistons.... They can bore it .030-.035 over then finish up the last with a hone.. In long run its 1-2 days less I'm down waiting...
Idk how this is going to turn out.. But at least it will clean easier

Once the tow truck dropped us off at Napa, had it back goin again in an hour
Be sure the grease seal is still in place and not deformed.

17.5:1 .040 finger bowls.. Order should go in tomorrow according to larry at Danville. Got bearings, seals/gaskets to pick up and need to get assorted o rings that ripped replaced.
