I was running 50-60% throttle in 4th gear. I was running 60mph till I hit 240° then backed down to 55-56mph and oil temp dropped ~5°.. Got plenty of HP just lacking cooling for oil.Handled it nicely. I think you may need some fuel though

Still fighting oil temp.. The red dually (lbz)was routinely above 250° at 275-300hp at the crank.resulted in a cracked piston.Looks like an intense pull! I've only ran the Eisenhower tunnel with a camper and a trailer. Still fighting oil temps or is that worse case scenario?

My LMM is almost ~200hp more at the cank 415/805 at the tires.
Current oil cooler setup has 2 1000cfm 10" fans and two 30,000 btu coolers, . Hot oil enters rear cooler and moves forward. Air flow goes front to rear in series.. Plan is to mount the coolers abreast, so fresh air goes into both, pull the fans ~1" off the cooler and shroud them. That's currently the cheapest route.. And get the most cooling out of each cooler.
A more drastic would be put LML oil pump in and increase piston oil squirter jet holes. I know for fact LML oil pump has more volume.. I have "heard" oil jets are bigger resulting in more oil to cool the pistons..
This one is ~6mile long and avg 7%.. Grade to Eisenhower tunnel is same 7% but much longer... And the Loveland bypass is steeper and longer
Adam, are you still running the stock oil cooler as well? Has anyone ever thought about making a big Oil to water cooler with a separate heat exchanger?I was running 50-60% throttle in 4th gear. Picket up my nittos from discount tire 305/50/20's. They couldn't understand why I didn't want them to install them.... Well its because they are window lickers and all they do is **** shit up.
I'll have them mounted on Monday when my buddies tire truck is done getting a full vinyl wrap.
