Truck looks and sounds great! I cant believe the difference from last year's videos. Very very impressive. I hope to see it in person at Numidia this year!

Just finished up a ppe dual fueler, 3" left side y bridge from wehrli custom fab, and a stainless drivers side intercooler tube. Also made my 2" front bumpstops into 3" stops.

Last week I installed dmaxstore kryptonite tie rods and center link, kryptonite idler pivot, kryptonite idler pivot brace, cognito pitman/idler arm braces, and new idler and pitman arms.

Off to see Tony at 6am to get it tuned for the weekend

I thought id leave it in so it would help keep the frame from twisting/spreading. It might be a silly thought. Plus it was a easy place to mount adjuster haha. I'll prolly put a plate so the nut has more surface area. Hopefully my angles are pretty close

Well after a few pulls this year and no success, plus the fact that 2.6 has become the monster that it has in the Mecca, we've decided it's time to hang it up. I'm just tired of trying to make this engine work for me. It's a shame really. I think it has potential and we've finally got past most of the bugs we had been having. Welded cups still holding just fine. Copper head gaskets sealing just fine. What it really needs is a manual trans, huge injectors and about 100 psi of boost and I think it would be happy. I'm also wore out with using an ether can for sure.

Got two complete lb7s coming tomorrow. Gonna put some of my parts in one of those and put it in the truck with a 2.5 fleece turbo in the valley. Pull it hopefully a few times. Maybe hit the strip. Then find a new owner. We were going to quit this year anyway, just not this soon. Devin gets married in sept and I just bought as much house as I can afford. Plus kids sports are starting and the wife's patience is dwindling. :D

My advice to anyone building a truck: go with a known formula if you have a limited budget. We tried too much crazy shit for the limited resources we had.

If anyone is interested in a pt1800 a2w, precision charger or weight box let me know. :thumb:

I'm also interested in the box Ed, put up them pics! maybe the profits will help you finish out the year with the truck man. When mine broke last weekend I was like" o well, that's it for this year...." but I realized that I'll go crazy not being able to get it to it's potential this summer. I've sacrificed too much to see it sit.
