Texas!!!
I had fun. Was doing pretty good in bracket racing until I broke out. The timing system was messed up so I couldn't really race the top end like I usually do. I was on the brakes pretty hard at the end, but I still broke out with a 13.69 on a 13.77 dial. The bad thing is I cut an .015 light to my competitor's .553 and his 18.79 on an 18.01 dial. I feel like an idiot, but I really didn't think the truck was running as well as it was. That was by far the fastest run of the day for the truck.

Anyway, it was good to see all the diesel guys out there. I wish more Duramaxes had shown up to race. Too many smokey Dodge out there. It was good to meet Phil and Dan.

Looking forward to the next event. :thumb:

I doubt I'm gonna make it. With work and school, my schedule is pretty busy.

What were the fastest times/trucks?
The guy I work for has an LB7 with a built motor, dual CP3s and twins running low 11s. The Hotrod Diesel guys had their pro diesel race truck out there running mid 10s. Dr. Performance had their tube chassis race truck out there running low 8s. There was an older body style (88-98) Chevy with a Cummins in it that had some big slicks on the back. I never saw what it was running, but it was in pro diesel with the Hotrod Diesel guys. I saw a couple of mid-high 11 second trucks, a handful 12 second trucks, and lots of 13 second trucks.

I saw Jim from Texas Performance Diesel in his 02 LB7 Street truck run a 10.72...twins and a .40 shot of nos...1st time out since rebuild.

I finally broke into the 12's with a 12.45, all motor - 02 LB7, thanks to Pat and Kat for a Awesome tune!!

Justin in his 6in lifted 3500 cc dually LBZ ran a 12.50.

Josh H did awesome in the Dually!!!

Dr Performance ran a 8.79 or 8.97?

Lil Red Express hit the wall on Friday night Test n Tune, so we didnt get to see that one run...

there was a Dodge 4WD with a "interesting" paint job running consistant 11.80s Street truck - during brackets...

It was another fun event! Nice to see everyone running well with very few failures.

I believe Dr. Performance first run was an 8.14.
