So youre saying, Nice place to visit, but wouldnt want to live there. Got it. (y)
Michigan is on list of places I'm watching to buy raw rural land to homestead, and yeah politics of the state play a part in it.
I'd love to do Alaska, but getting my stuff up there isn't really feasible, especially some stuff that's not friendly in Canada mainly SHTF related stuff

How about those Lions last night?
That was some comeback. I was thinking it was going to go into overtime but they barely inched in that field goal for the win. The Texans put up a good first half but couldn't hang on and the Lions started gaining momentum that gave them enough points to stay in it

@TheBac Was texting my buddy in TC about it. Stupid Texans can't seal the deal. 5 interceptions and we still lose? Holy crap...

Even 5 years ago, that's another game they lose. Those two FGs would've just missed instead of just making it. We never would've recovered in the second half. But something is different about this team now. I'm loving it, that's for sure.

Texas!!!
I think the Lions have a coach that has changed the culture there. He seems like a passionate guy, and the players are responding to it.

Just heard that a friends shop burned down. He owns and operates North Pasture Farms. Selling pasture raised cow meat. Estimated loss is around $120k. If insurance doesn't cover it, then he'll have to file for bankruptcy and possibly close for good 20241113_094354.jpg

Cause unknown right now. Said when he went to open the door to the shop there was a back draft and he barely had enough time to get out of the way before the whole thing went up. Didn't even have time to move the vehicles

Edit: so, inventory in the shop was at $120k. Doesn't count the cost of the shop or vehicles lost. 🤞 Crossing my fingers insurance covers it.

Lately my News feed has been swapped with the food poison stuff with red 40 and whatever.
They're complaining about junk ingredients in junk food..

Like 75% of the food that has that crap is junk food and you shouldn't be consuming it on the daily.
Also I think 70-80% of common breakfast food is junk food

I wonder if that has anything to do with RFK jr being picked for head of HHS. He's been saying that for a while and now he's up for nomination the news has been repeating what he's been saying

Red 40 and related junk stuff has been around for a couple decades.
Fluoride is another that's been well known to cause issues as well..

It's not "new" but it's "new" enmass on the main stream media.

Maybe media will latch onto the new administration, otherwise I guess their done for. I don’t even listen to the mainstream media anymore, it’s total propaganda, I became aware when they started frothing at the mouth over Trump in 16. I used to watch CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, FOX and just about any mainstream source and took it as truth. Not anymore…

Look at how many are laying off employees. And MSNBC is reportedly being sold off as it doesn't turn a profit. More and more people are turning to podcasts and online independent news sources to get away from the one sided propaganda. If the mainstream media doesn't adapt and change to accommodate the newer generation and political climate they will be as rare as phone book

I stopped watching Fox a while ago, they're where during same thing 1hr show with 45 minutes just ranting how bad the other side was..
Did pick up a lot of adjectives and adverbs to use in a derogatory manner 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣
