Figured Id introduce myself. Long time BMW road racer, (12yrs) pretty serious BMW wrencher/mechanic and run a small side business working on, prepping, building BMW cars/race cars.
Owned a 2001 F350 7.3 for about 3-4 years, built it, and kept having issues, so I dumped it Jan 14' during a road trip back from leave (Active Duty Navy, 12 years). Bought a 2011 GMC 2500 SLT with Denali appearance package. Already had a 4" exhaust (DEP/DPF delete) and EFILive tune, with no adjustable tunes. Gooseneck hitch in bed, and leveled in the front
Been playing with the truck ever since, towing my 30' Pace Daytona triple axle trailer, and now a 24' Pace Daytona dual trailer.
Slowing been working it over, and getting things set up.
PPE Deep trans pan, fresh Amsoil
Duramax Store, HD Tie Rods, Idler/Pitman arm supports, and HD center link
AirRaid intake
PPEI tunes
Edge CTS2 monitor
Have a bunch of stuff in boxes, ready to go in, but cant seem to find the time to get them done
Fass 150 titanium
Klein HK9 train horns (dual 5gallon tanks)
Air Bags for the back
Edge pyrometer kit
CAT fuel filter adapter kit (bought before I got the FASS)
Some other odds n ends.
Just doing my due diligence, reading up, learning, and sharing my mechanic experience where I can.
