Hey there,

I just picked up a 2007.5 LMM that has had some work done to it. On the day I drove it home the CEL came on and I also got the water in fuel warning. I took it home and changed the oil, fuel filter and air cleaner. I purchased an Actron scanner and was able to pull the codes. I cleared codes P0113 - IAT Sensor 1 high input and P0101 - MAF Range/Perf. After clearing the codes the P0101 keeps coming up and the truck goes in limp mode for a few minutes before it starts running right. If I clear the code while the truck is in drive, it does not come back until I put it back in park.

The truck was built by Redline Diesel and has some custom programming on it. My question is can I have any shop with say EFI Live reprogram or create a new program for my truck and fix the error codes? If anyone can reccomend a good shop in the area (Inland Empire) So Cal, that can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. I would also like to get the transmission serviced just so I know when it was last done.

Thanks for you input.

Thanks for the feedback!

The truck has the stock intake with an AFE filter. I have cleaned the filter and the MAF and no luck.

I live in Fontana and work in Riverside so Valencia is a bit of a drive. I'm willing to make the drive though if that's what it takes to fix my truck. What about McRat? Is that not something they can do? I beleive they are in Corona which is only about 30 minutes from me.

I guess my main concerne still is can a tune be written on top of another tune? This truck is extremely fast and I'm considering tuning it down with just some extra hp for towing, etc. I need to make sure the truck is going to last me a long time and am not interested in constantly having to deal with CEL or repairs.

Thanks again for all the feedback.

Update:

I was able to get ahold of Clyde from Redline and he hooked up the EFI Live and fixed the problem. He just had to open up the parameters a bit.

Thanks everyone for the info.
