LLY: No reverse. Not shifting.

Driving home tonight passes a truck and accelerated but not too hard. Felt like a down shift and since then it won't shift at all ran about 2500 rpms all the way home doin 55. Takin off is slow and takes a lot. No reverse doesn't do a thing. And when I put it in drive it drops hard can hear it clunk and feel it.

after you shut it off and start it again do you have reverse again? is the check engine light on?

could be limp home mode for the trans or a plugged fuel filter. where it doesnt have reverse sounds like limp mode and you slipped the trans. damage to the C3 was done.

turn the key on and off 6 times... should reset it.. if a cel is on then you might have to reclear that with a scaner of some kind

I'm stumped on the "no reverse" issue. In limp dont you still have reverse and 3rd? and as far as the hard acceleration your starting in 3rd instead of 1st so it is sluggish.

trans limp does not have reverse until you shut it off and restart.

If I were to guess; I'd say speed sensor problem.
