What's your input on billet wheel think that will help on spool time and from what iv read higher boost levels with it too

I ran my truck at 1700 deg. for more than 50 pases, i dont believe egts were the cause of the hole in my piston, i think it had to do with aggresive injection timming.. My dodge had tons of miles and lived forever with extremely high egts, that truck is still runnin today!

I can't compare Billet to cast but I did have the billet in mine and it spooled pretty quick, but it was a 472 opposed to your 475. But even with the cast wheel you should be in the 50 psi range. Any boost or exhaust leaks? Do you know what housing you have on the hot side?

When I ran my GT4202R I had the 30% overs and twin cp3's. Made around 55 lbs of boost and egts were at 1500 thru the traps. The GT4094R with single cp3 and the same 30% overs were maxing out the 1700 egt at the 1/8 th hate to see what the 1/4 was.

Need to make a clean pass before you start adding parts to it, I dont think a billet wheel will change anything..

i wouldnt jump to saying that yet unless you cap the intake on the turbo off and pressurize the system looking for leaks and do find its leaking. i wouldnt be throwing anything at it till you get a for sure idea whats wrong. guess just makes the pocket book hurt that much more

It sounds like your tuning isn't right yet. You need to get some logs to your tuner so he can adjust it accordingly. That's where I would start

With that 75 it should break the tires loose in second gear when it lights. I have a billet wheel and still have a little trouble building boost off the line because of my tight converter. I have to bring my rpms up to about 1500 or so and sit there until my egts get up to around 800-1000, then I ease it on up to 2000-2200 and my boost begins to climb. Once it levels off I ease into the second beam. I started off with a 2.2 for my first pass. After a few runs and learning how to get the boost up I ended up cutting a 1.8 60'. It a little more involved getting a big single to leave hard. I could easily cut low 1.7's with my stock turbo. Im not saying you dont have other issues, its obvious you do with your low trap speeds.
