I am havin some problems I have had 3-4 trips to the dealer here in vegas for fueling problems. The truck has been towed in I think 3 of the times. Now I take the truck in again and am told that I am not in warranty, extended warranty ran out at 60k and I have 62k. I thought I bought a 100k warranty:mad: Now if I want the truck fixed, I have to pay for it. They had my truck for 2.5 days and did nothing but an oil change while I had to pay for a rental as my other car is down as well.... yup, my luck sucks. The truck has a rough idle and smokes while at a stop light...but is intermittent. If I put the truck into neutral/out of gear it is instantly fine. They didnt even bother to look at it or bother to call to see if I would pay for it. Any ideas as to what it may be? Seems like I am getting brushed off and am being prepped for a raping. Thanks for any input. Also, for what its worth, there is no cel on and the truck really seems to be getting bad mileage to the tune of about 12mpg with me driving like a grandma.

Have you tried running without the edge plugged in?

I have run it on zero, stock level, but it seems to get better mileage on level 1. Can I defeat it by just pulling out the jumper/harness connector and reconnecting the stock harness ends?

Yah I would try to unplug it completely and leave only the stock harnesses together. I had an edge on my LB7 and it would do some funny things from time to time

I have noticed that the engine load that is usually at about 10-12% sitting at a light, will go as high as the high 20% when it does this as if the pcm is trying to compensate and is dumping fuel. I also changed the fuel filter about 2k miles ago and tried a fuel additive. The additive/cleaner seemed to help, but I am not sure it really did as I wanted it to be fixed.... and I really do know better than that.

I will have to give it a try tomorrow and see how it does for the next couple of tanks of fuel. I really only use the edge box as a set of gauges now anyway, especially when I am towing my toy hauler.

Sounds a little bit like what my truck was doing when I did the cp3 mod. Could your regulator be going bad? Might want to monitor FPR and see what it's doing.
